About the Summertime in the LBC 5K, 10K, & Half Marathon
The course runs along the Long Beach waterfront, tracing the coastline with ocean views for most of the route. The terrain is flat pavement, so the effort goes into legs, not navigation. Several distance options mean you can pick your morning without switching events.
Race-morning bib pickup opens early at a tent near the start line on Ocean Blvd. Street parking along Ocean Blvd is free, and a paid beach lot sits just down the block. Restrooms are near the start, and aid stations are spaced out along the course.
