About the Furgiving Run: Turkey Trot 5K, 10K, Half Marathon
The course follows the Long Beach shoreline on a flat road path, with ocean views for most of the route. Several distance options make it work for a range of paces and goals, and dogs on leash are welcome, so plenty of people show up with a four-legged running partner alongside.
Bib pickup opens early on race morning, so there is no separate pickup day to plan around. The finish area has an outdoor festival atmosphere near the beach, with photos available at no extra cost and age group awards for those chasing a placement.
