About the Spring Hill Sun Run
The Spring Hill Sun Run is a school-based race held on an elementary school campus in Fayetteville. Both the shorter fun run and the longer route are new courses, so even runners who have done this one before will be covering fresh ground. It runs in the early evening, so the light is changing as you go, which gives it a different feel from a typical morning race.
Check-in opens before the fun run starts, and the warm-up happens near the school entrance, so there is a natural gathering point before things get moving. The races go off in sequence, with the shorter distance first. Afterward, age group awards are announced on site, and there is a raffle drawing with door prizes mixed in.
