About the 8th Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Trot

This is an off-road course, so expect dirt and uneven ground rather than pavement. Dogs and strollers are not permitted on the course, which gives you a sense of the terrain. There are distance options for both competitive runners and those looking for a shorter, easier outing, with age group awards for the main race.

Packet pickup happens at a location in the Mahopac area in the days before Thanksgiving, with very limited pickup available on race morning. The organizers strongly encourage picking up in advance, so plan accordingly.
