About the Fallen Comrades Half Marathon
The course runs through the West Point campus, starting near a large open field and heading toward the Hudson River before looping through the grounds twice. You pass a stadium, a reservoir, a military hospital, and a rugby complex along the way. The terrain has real hills, particularly the climb up toward the stadium, and the surroundings are unlike any other race in the region.
Packet pickup the day before is held next to the Visitor Center, so you can grab your race materials and visitor pass at the same time. Race-morning pickup is available but discouraged if you do not have a military ID, since security processing for visitor passes is limited that early. Anyone without a DOD card needs a visitor pass to enter the installation.
