About the Silverdale Rotary Turkey Trot 2026
The course runs entirely on a wide fire road through the woods at Newberry Hill Heritage Park, away from any streets or traffic. The surface is compact dirt and gravel with a modest climb per loop. Dogs on leashes are welcome, strollers are permitted, and the whole thing has the feel of a neighborhood run that happens to be in the trees.
Packet pickup happens at a local sporting goods store inside the Kitsap Mall on a couple of evenings the week before the race, with race-morning pickup available as well. Parking is at Klahowya Secondary School, with signs pointing you toward the staging area on the access road into the park.
