About the Bainbridge Island Parks & Trails Foundation Trillium Trail Run

The course starts at Battle Point Park and heads out along the Forest to Sky Trail before winding through the Grand Forest, where the trees are tall enough to block out most of the sky. The trail surface is rooted and soft underfoot, with the kind of shade you only get from old-growth conifers. There are several distance options, including a shorter kids' course that stays inside the park.

Packets go out race morning at the start, so there is no separate pickup to worry about the day before. The race raises money for new trail construction on the island, which gives it a purposeful feel without making a big deal of it.
