About the Shelby Township Jingle Bell Run
The course runs through River Bends Park, starting and finishing near the Burgess-Shadbush Nature Center. It is a marked route through park grounds, which gives it a natural, wooded feel. The race benefits several local causes, including programs for blind children and burn care, so the morning carries some weight beyond the usual holiday-run atmosphere.
Packet pickup the day before is at a local running shop nearby. On race morning, the park entrance off Hamlin and Ryan Road is where you come in, and signs direct you from there to parking and check-in. Post-race snacks are set out after you finish.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Shelby Township Jingle Bell Run has been held every year since at least 2024. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
