About the FESTIVUS CELEBRATION
The courses head out into Riverbends Park, which gives the route a natural, open feel away from the road. Both distance options share that same terrain, so the park setting is the backdrop regardless of which you run.
The race starts and finishes at Kay Jay's Irish Pub on Auburn Road, and the post-race party is built into the entry. Each participant covers a food item and a drink at the pub. There is also an ugly sweater contest, so holiday attire is genuinely encouraged, and a raffle rounds out the morning.

The FESTIVUS CELEBRATION has been held every year since at least 2024. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Oct 25, 2026.
