The course runs through Martin Luther King Park, a city park setting that keeps things accessible without being dull. Both distance options are professionally timed, so whether you are chasing a personal best or just getting out to move, the result is official. The race is put on by a veteran-owned activewear company, and that background gives the morning a purposeful feel.
Bib pickup happens at the park pavilion on race morning, before the start. After you finish, the celebration stretches on, with food, games, and vendors on site. The post-race area is set up for families, so there is reason to stick around rather than head straight to the car.
