About the SARR Freedom Day Run-4-Miler, 2-Miler & Li'l Firecrackers Kids Run
This is a patriotic holiday race put on by the San Antonio RoadRunners, with distance options for adults and a kids run. The shorter adult distance and the kids run are untimed, so those are more about showing up than racing. The timed distance has age group awards. Red, white, and blue is the unofficial dress code, and there is a costume contest after the finish.
Packet pickup before race day is strongly recommended. The location is set closer to the event, so check back for that detail. Post-race food and refreshments are part of the morning, and awards for the timed event are handed out on-site, so plan to stick around if you think you might place.
