About the Running through the Decades Half Marathon - Tulsa
Running Through the Decades is a retro-themed race hosted by Bigfoot Running Company, starting on a central Tulsa street. A costume contest kicks things off before the gun, and runners are encouraged to show up in full retro gear. A live DJ spins period music throughout the morning, and the atmosphere leans heavily into the theme rather than treating it as an afterthought.
Packet pickup wraps up shortly before race time, so arriving early gives you room to get your bib, scope the start area, and enter the costume contest without rushing. Snacks and refreshments are set up at the Rally Tent after you finish, and results and awards are posted at the Registration Tent right away.
