About the Running of the Turkeys 5K & 10K Trail Run

The course rolls through wide dirt trails in Torrey Hills Neighborhood Park, with hills throughout and a waterfall view around the halfway point. The whole group walks together from the park to the start area before the run begins. There is no timing and no frills, just trails on Thanksgiving morning.

Check-in wraps up before a brief pre-race meeting, after which everyone walks together to the start line. There are no parking fees and no cups on course, so bring your own water. Entry is by donation, with proceeds going to Operation Rebound, which supports injured military veterans and first responders.
