About the Run With The Force
Run With The Force is a road race in Bossier City that raises money for a local homeschool athletics program called Shreveport Force, which fields cross country and track teams alongside other sports. The course is described as beginner and family friendly, so expect a mix of paces and a crowd that is more interested in the cause than the clock.
The race draws volunteers and spectators tied to the homeschool sports community, so the atmosphere is more neighborhood gathering than open road race. Age group awards go out across a wide spread of brackets, so runners at most ages are racing someone.
