About the Run with Mae 2026
The race is held on the track at a middle school in Brighton. Both distance options run on the track, so the surface is consistent and the course stays close to the crowd the whole time. There is no chip timing, which sets the tone: this is a fundraiser first, built around a family's experience with childhood cancer and the organizations that helped them.
After the race, there is a raffle drawing with gift baskets put together from downtown Brighton shops and other local businesses. A bone marrow registry table is expected to be on site as well.
