About the Run This Mother Half Marathon, 10k, 5K
Comanche Park hosts this Mother's Day race, and the whole event is open to women only. The course runs through shaded trails and green surroundings inside the park, starting and finishing in the same spot. The terrain reads as natural and tree-lined rather than pavement-heavy, which makes the middle miles feel quieter than a typical road race.
Packet pickup happens the two days before the race at a local running store on Broadway. There is also a race-morning pickup window at the park if you miss the earlier days. At the finish, there are breakfast tacos, fruit, chocolates, and beer from a sponsor, plus a photography service shooting post-race pictures.
