About the RUN ROCKAWAY BEACH NYC MOTHER'S DAY HALF MARATHON 5K & 1 MILE WALK
The course runs along the Rockaway Beach boardwalk, heading west from the start street and turning back east before returning to the finish. The half marathon covers the out-and-back route a couple of times; the shorter race does it once. It is flat beachside running, open sky overhead, with the ocean alongside you the whole way. Aid stations with water and sports drink are spread generously along the course.
Packet pickup opens before the gun goes off on race morning. The start and finish are both on the boardwalk at the same cross street, and a public parking lot sits right there at that intersection.
