About the Run, Fiesta, Repeat - Cinco de Mayo 5K, 10K, & Half Marathon
The course runs along a beachfront path in Long Beach, with ocean views and palm trees the whole way. It is a smooth, paved surface that stays close to the water, so there is not much shade but there is usually a sea breeze. Aid stations sit at the turnaround points, and course staff are posted throughout.
Packet pickup is at a race tent near the start line on race morning, and public parking is available in the beach and marina lots nearby. Arriving early gives you the best shot at a close spot. There is a DJ and a finish line party after, so there is reason to stick around once you are done.
