About the Long Beach Halloween Run 5K. 10K. Half Marathon
The course runs along the waterfront at Alamitos Beach, with the Queen Mary visible across the harbor for much of the route. The road is flat the whole way, so there is nothing technical underfoot, just open coastal pavement and water views. Costumes are common and range from serious to absurd, which sets the tone for the morning.
Packet pickup opens early on race morning at the beach start, and the finish line area has music and a festival atmosphere. Race-day photos are included, so there is no scramble to find a photographer on the course.
