About the Rooster Run Walk
The course runs at the Canfield Fairgrounds, which means the surroundings are distinctly agricultural. Expect flat, open ground with fairground buildings and animal barns nearby. There is a shorter kids' dash alongside the main run, so the start area has a mixed energy of young children and adults warming up at the same time.
Packet pickup the day before is at a Fleet Feet location in Boardman. On race morning, pickup is at Gate F, which is also where the race starts. The fairgrounds have a specific vehicle entrance separate from the walk-in gate, so it is worth noting which one applies to you before you arrive.
