About the Rocktoberfest 10K & 5K
The course loops around a lake on a university campus, passing alongside a golf course and a disc golf course that has hosted national-level competition. The surface is smooth road, and the looped design means spectators can find a spot and catch runners more than once. A live rock band plays near the start and finish line.
Packet pickup the evening before is at a local running company in Rock Hill. Parking on race day is at the coliseum adjacent to the course. After finishing, there is a beer garden featuring local brews, so there is reason to stick around.
