About the 4.01K Reindeer Run
The course runs the Rock Hill Criterium loop, a certified circuit on Riverwalk Parkway. It is flat and paved, designed for cycling events, which means clean sight lines and a smooth surface underfoot. The flagship distance loops it a couple of times while the longer option does several laps, so you pass the start and finish area repeatedly. Costumes are very much part of the scene.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at Charlotte Running Company in Rock Hill. On race morning, check-in opens before the first wave, with the costume contest happening near the start and finish area later in the morning. After the final wave, lunch is served on site, and the nonprofit's deployment gear is on display for anyone who wants to stick around.
