About the Northwestern Trojan Turkey Trot

The course runs on the cross country course at Northwestern High School, mostly on grass, winding across the school grounds and a neighboring middle school campus. It is a real trail-style cross country layout, not a road course, so expect uneven ground and open field running rather than pavement.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at a local running store, with race-morning pickup available near the start line at the back of the school. Parking is on site, and the start line is a short walk along a covered walkway from the lot. A food truck and sponsor booths are set up near the finish, and there are snacks and water afterward.
