About the ROCKAWAY BEACH SPRING MARATHON, HALF MARATHON & 5K
The Rockaway Track Club puts on this beach-season opener on a USATF-certified course that runs along the shore. The marathon and half marathon follow a looping route starting from an amphitheater near the beach, while the 5K goes out and back on the same stretch. The surroundings are open and coastal, and the course is flat throughout.
Packet pickup and bib check-in happen at the beach amphitheater on race morning before the start. Public parking is available in a lot right at the start area, so there is no real logistical scramble to begin the day.
