About the Remember & Honor - Memorial Day 5k

The course runs across the back half of a championship golf course at a resort, so the terrain is manicured and gently rolling rather than pavement. Tall palms and fairway grass make it feel far removed from city streets, and the route is wide open the whole way.

Race-morning check-in is at the Valencia Courtyard, next to the resort spa. Parking is available on-site, either self-park at no cost or valet through the Ritz-Carlton or JW Marriott entrances. Afterward, the resort sets out champagne, mimosas, and healthy snacks, along with stretching and massage therapists.
