About the Reindeer Run 2026

The course starts and finishes at Cate Square Park in downtown Hammond, looping through the historic district before heading out and back through the nearby university campus. The surroundings shift from old downtown streets to a college campus and back, which gives the route a bit of variety. It is flat enough that the scenery does the work.

Packet pickup runs across the couple of days before the race at a pregnancy resource center that the event benefits, with race-morning pickup available at Cate Square Park for those who skip the early option. The park also serves as the post-race gathering spot, right in the middle of downtown.
