About the Hammond Rotary Shamrock Run 2026
The course runs on roads through the Renaissance Festival grounds, looping around a small lake and through the Renaissance Village. It is a flat road course with an unusual setting, the kind of place that looks very different from a typical park or neighborhood route. There are several distance options, from a short fun run up to a longer race.
Parking is on the festival grounds themselves. The entrance sits past Hammond High School, so give yourself time to find a spot and walk in. Packet pickup runs the week before at a local insurance office, with race-morning pickup available if you cannot make it, though the organizers note that morning lines can get long.
