San Vicente Boulevard is the course, an out-and-back that tilts gently uphill on the way out and rolls back down toward the finish. The street is wide and tree-lined, and the incline is gradual enough that most people find a rhythm without much trouble. A large vendor expo and a kids area fill the finish area, and the race raises money for the Brentwood Library.
