About the Popsicle Dash 5K
The course runs along the ocean path at Granada Beach, starting near Rosie's Dog Beach. It stays flat the whole way, with the water beside you and sea air throughout. A costume contest runs alongside the race, with people showing up in whatever they feel like wearing. Popsicles are waiting at the finish.
Check-in opens in the early evening, before the run kicks off at dusk. Free street parking is nearby, and a paid beach lot is also an option. The start area is stroller-friendly and open to dogs, so the gathering before the gun tends to look more like a beach hangout than a race start.
