About the Popsicle 5K/10K/Half - Boise
The course runs out and back along the Boise River Trail, starting and finishing at Veterans Memorial Park. The trail is paved and flat, with the river nearby for most of the route. Because it is an out-and-back, you pass other runners heading the opposite direction, which makes the course feel active even when the field spreads out.
Pickup happens race morning, in the hour before the gun. Water stations are spaced along the course, though runners who prefer not to stop may want to carry their own hydration.
