About the Trick or Trot
The course follows the Boise Greenbelt, a paved path along the river that is familiar to most local runners. The shorter route is set up for kids to trick or treat along the way, so costumes are very much part of the morning. The start is at Municipal Park, and the whole thing runs at a pace that suits families moving together.
Proceeds benefit a children's hospital charity, with the Daughters of the Nile Foundation handling the connection. The start area at Municipal Park gives families room to gather before and after without much scrambling for space.
