About the PNC Alexandria Half

The course starts at City Hall and heads out along the George Washington Parkway before turning back, so you get the same riverside stretch in both directions. The finish drops you into a waterfront park in Old Town, where a beer garden and photo backdrops are set up in the post-race area.

Packet pickup is handled through Pacers Running in the days before the race, and there is no race-morning pickup option, so plan accordingly. After finishing, the crowd gathers in Oronoco Bay Park rather than at the finish line itself, which keeps things from getting congested at the chute.
