About the 25th Annual Fort Hunt Elementary School Fox Trot
The Fox Trot starts and ends on school grounds, with check-in out front and the finish line on the soccer field beside the building. It draws students, teachers, parents, and neighbors, so the crowd is mostly people who already know each other.
Before the race, there is a group stretch on the front grounds, led by members of the high school cross country team. The finish area has refreshments and music, and the feel is more school-morning reunion than road race.
