About the Pi Miles E-Week's Family Fun Run/Walk
The race runs through Martin Luther King Park on the east side of San Antonio, a neighborhood park setting that keeps things grounded and local. The course has not been published yet, so the exact shape of the route is still an open question, but the park location suggests a course that stays close to home.
Packet pickup opens race morning at the start site, so there is no separate trip the day before. Awards go to top finishers overall and by age division, and there is also a separate category for engineers and engineering students. A costume contest and a raffle round out the morning.
