About the Our Lady of the Lake Tiger 10K

Both distances start on the road outside Tiger Stadium and wind through campus, past the Law Center, the Student Union, the Parade Grounds, and along Sorority Row before the courses diverge. The whole point is the finish: runners end inside the stadium itself, on the field.

Packet pickup is held inside the stadium the day before the race, with an early race-morning option if you need it. Parking near the stadium is free. After finishing, there is a post-race party outside with a band, food, and beer, though food and drink tickets come attached to race bibs.

Common Questions About the Our Lady of the Lake Tiger 10K

Will I finish last at the Our Lady of the Lake Tiger 10K?

Almost certainly not. Half the 10K field finished slower than 1:02:23, and the last recorded finisher came in around 2:16:50, so there is a long tail of runners behind the middle of the pack. Most fields are far slower than people expect.

Is the Our Lady of the Lake Tiger 10K a good first 10K?

With 2,489 finishers there are runners at every pace, so you are never out on your own. There is no qualifying time, and the finish-time spread above shows how varied the field really is. If it is your first 10K, that spread matters more than the winner's time.

How competitive is the Our Lady of the Lake Tiger 10K?

The 10K winner ran 33:02 while the median finisher took 1:02:23. That spread points to a mixed field, with a competitive front and a big recreational middle.
