About the NOMAD Holiday Prelude 5K
The course circles Lake Quannapowitt, so the water is with you for most of the run. It is a straightforward loop on flat ground around the lake, and the setting does most of the work. Proceeds go to the National Marrow Donors Program, which gives the race a purpose beyond the finish line.
Age-group awards reach deep into the field, with podium spots for open runners and a separate prize structure for those over a certain age, including a special recognition for the fastest runners in the oldest bracket.
