About the 2027 New Year Chase Peace Run
The routes all follow the river, so faster and slower runners share the same path even when they peel off at different points. The course starts and finishes at a Mennonite church in a residential neighborhood near a high school, and the church stays open and warm throughout the morning. Timing runs through a phone app, and a paper leaderboard goes up once everyone is in.
Packet pickup or race-morning check-in both happen at the church. Parking is available beside the building and on the surrounding streets. After you finish, there is an outdoor fire, coffee, hot chocolate, and smoothies made from peanut butter, banana, and chocolate. A food vendor runs trail snacks out on the course itself.
