About the MileBuilt Turkey Lake 2-Day Challenge
The course runs on asphalt roads inside Bill Frederick Park at Turkey Lake, looping past pavilions, the lake shore, and an overlook where the water opens up. The tree cover is dense, a mix of scrub pine, live oak, and cypress. Expect occasional vehicle crossings at a staffed point. Several distance options run each day, and you can race one day or both.
Bibs are available race morning before your scheduled start, no ID needed, and a friend can pick yours up. The event is cupless, so bring a bottle or vest. Aid is at a couple of pavilions along the route. Camping inside the park puts your tent a short walk from the start. At the finish, you strike a gong and clock out manually for your official time.
