About the Midtown Mile San Antonio Championship Run
The course runs along the holiday parade route through Alamo Heights, mostly downhill, which makes it fast. The start is at a boulevard intersection near the heart of the neighborhood, and you finish at the local pool. The downhill grade means most people come through quicker than they expect.
Parking is available at the high school and near the finish at the pool. Packet pickup happens beforehand at a local running store on Broadway. The finish area has food and drinks, and there is champagne at a stop along the course.
