About the Luv 2 Run Portland 5K
The course runs the Back Cove Trail, a scenic off-road loop around the cove. It is trail terrain rather than road, so expect packed natural surface underfoot. The race director is known for bad jokes before and after the gun, and fresh fruit and pastries are out at the finish. Post-race, there is a party at a local Amvets post nearby.
Packet pickup opens the morning of the race at Marathon Sports on Marginal Way, well before the start. The pickup location is a short drive from the start, and maps are provided to help you get between the two. Race-day registration is also available during that same pickup window.
