About the 10th Annual Portland Waterfront 5K
The course follows Portland Trails along the waterfront near Commercial Street, flat the whole way and fast enough that a lot of runners treat it as a personal best attempt. It starts and finishes at the Casco Bay Lines Ferry Terminal, so you get the water on one side and the working harbor on the other for most of the run.
After the race, the post-race gathering moves to Portland Flatbread Pizza, where pizza and salad are available for runners who added that option. Awards cover overall winners, age group placers across a wide spread of brackets, and family teams, which only need a couple of people to count.
