About the Lucky 5K/10K/Half Marathon - Shreveport
The race runs through Walker Place Park and the organizers describe it as closer to flat than hilly, so most runners will find the terrain forgiving. It has a shamrock theme, with green encouraged and a celebratory atmosphere at the finish. Several distance options make it work for a range of goals, and self-serve water stations are spaced out along the course.
Early packet pickup is the evening before the race at a Holiday Inn Express in Shreveport, at a specific address on Park Plaza Drive. Race-morning check-in and registration open at the park about an hour before the start, so showing up that day without a bib is still an option.
