About the Lucky 5K/10K/Half Marathon - Las Cruces
The Lucky 5K/10K/Half Marathon runs through La Llorona Park with a shamrock theme. The course is a road and path route with self-serve water stations spaced across the distance, enough to get by on for most paces, though runners going hard may want to carry their own hydration.
Packet pickup opens at the race site on the morning of the event, before the first wave goes off. There are staggered wave starts, so the start area tends to spread out and stay manageable. A short early pickup window at the race site the evening before is sometimes added closer to race day.
