About the ROAR RUN 3!

The course runs on golf cart paths, and the organizers are upfront that the terrain is hilly. It is not a PR course, but it is a scenic one, and the hills make it feel like a real effort regardless of which distance you choose. The race raises money to support children and youth in Zambia, so there is a purpose behind the morning beyond the running itself.

Costumes are encouraged, which gives race day a particular energy. After finishing, there is a fire pit and breakfast burritos at the post-race area. Packet pickup runs the evening before at a local church, with race-morning pickup available near the start line.
