About the Louisville Pure Tap® 5K
The course runs along River Road, east and west from the Louisville Water Tower, which sits right on the river and serves as both the start and the finish. The road is flat and straight, with the water visible for much of the route. A water station partway along sits at the entrance to a park, and portable restrooms are available there as well.
Dogs are genuinely welcome here, not just tolerated. Owners can register their dogs as an add-on, with proceeds going to a local animal services organization. Packet pickup and on-site registration are both available before the gun, so you are not locked out if you decide late.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a decent-sized field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Louisville Pure Tap® 5K has been held every year since at least 2013. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
