About the Louis Duarte's Breast Cancer Awareness 5k
The course runs through Hart Park, winding along the park grounds and trails. It is a natural-surface route through a park setting, so expect some uneven trail sections rather than pure pavement. The surroundings are green and shaded in stretches, and the course doubles back through the same grounds, keeping the finish area close.
After the race, there is a meal, refreshments, music, and sponsor booths set up near the finish. The post-race area is designed to linger in, with space to catch up with other participants before heading out.
