About the CASA Superhero Run
The course runs through the Park at Riverwalk in Bakersfield, with several distance options split between timed and untimed formats. The shorter, untimed route is aimed at families moving at their own pace, while the longer distances are chip-timed for runners chasing a goal. The surroundings are park paths, which tend to be paved and easy underfoot.
The event draws a costume crowd, and a contest is part of the morning. Local food vendors set up on site, and there is a raffle and awards ceremony later in the day, so there is reason to stick around after you finish.
