About the Bakersfield Monster Mash Dash

The Monster Mash Dash is a Halloween-themed race that runs through Bakersfield with costumes encouraged and a contest for the best ones, including a prize for the largest group. The course is a short road race, and the whole morning leans into the holiday, so expect plenty of dressed-up runners of all ages around you.

Packet pickup happens the evening before at a fitness studio on Ming Ave, with a morning pickup window as well. The costume contest kicks off before the race starts, so arriving early gives you time to get judged before the field lines up.
