About the Last Dash Before Midnight 5K, 10K, & Half Marathon
The course runs along the coast in Long Beach, so ocean views are with you for most of the route. The terrain is flat and the surroundings are open, with the kind of wide coastal scenery that makes the miles pass a little easier. It is a New Year's Eve morning race, which gives the whole thing a natural sense of occasion without anyone having to manufacture one.
Bib pickup and same-day registration both happen at the Race Ready tents on-site, so there is no separate trip the day before. The start area is right on Ocean Boulevard, near the water.
