About the L.A. CHINATOWN FIRECRACKER 5K/10K/KIDDIE/PAW'ER DOG RUN/WALK & BIKE RIDE
The course runs through the streets of Los Angeles's Chinatown neighborhood, with road closures clearing the way on race morning. Broadway and the surrounding blocks form the core of the route, so you are running through a dense urban corridor with storefronts and neighborhood texture on all sides. Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted.
Street parking in the Chinatown area is tight on race morning, with meters and time limits actively enforced. The Metro is a practical option, the Chinatown Station puts you right there, and riders who show a valid pass or ticket can use a free bag check at the start.
